I recently started working on KeyShot; I have a CAD model and CMF document. I cannot use the proper way; I mean “C: Storm grey, M: Plastic, F: Painting” on the CMF document. How to select gray? We have more shades of gray. I didn’t find any tutorials on this; if anything related tutorial or something, please someone share.
The CMF functions in keyshot are ‘built’ using the “Material Information Manager” (Tools>Material Tools>Material Information Manager - or Tools Button>Material Information Manager). To use this method it requires a lot of organization, and quite a bit of setup. If you will be using any common sets of materials, especially across files, this could be amazingly useful. For my company, unfortunately, it’s more trouble than it’s worth for us just by nature of how we work on concepts in a very adhoc way.
See this tutorial for how to set it up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGm55NfO9vg
